Vaillant

An original character for a comic I was writing but gave up on. Old art.

Meet Vaillant.

He is part of an otherworldly race called Mo-Kai, dubbed by humans as "demons" who once came to earth seeking conquest. Mankind's most advanced weapons could never have stopped the Mo-Kai's unreal strength and resilience, but their takeover was thwarted by something the demons had no apt to control: magic.

He's one flamboyant, greedy prick of an evil genius, who is highly skilled in the fields of science, biology, engineering, and invention.

He also has many battle skills, which include his superior strength, agility, and his strange green sword, which is one of his sick biological science projects.

What does he want? Everything. Infinite power, eternal life, the works. How does he plan on getting there? As Vaillant would put it: "technology, bitches."

He intends on undergoing a complete transformation from biological to mechanical (like Bicentennial Man, only backwards). Technology evolves exponentially, thus, so will his power. He will obtain an eternal and omnipotent existence through his technological advancements.

Though the corruption of humanity, he founded the industrious empire known as "Antechs, Military and Industry," an organization which controls one-third of the world's economy. They manufacture everything and anything from war machines to children's toys. However, behind the scenes, Vaillant himself oversees his own private projects and productions, away from the eyes of the King and the public.

Antechs is Vaillant's opportunity to fulfill his dreams of developing technology that will allow the Mo-Kai to control magic themselves.

Through all this, Vaillant hopes to rekindle the flames of his peoples' conquest.
...And he won't hesitate to destroy ANYONE who stands between him and his goals.
