------UPDATE-------

Comic dub. Yay!

--------------

After hearing where Spike got his Power Ponies comic, RD and Twilight look for a... good read.
Good READ.
READ.

READ. :iconapplejackwhatplz:

The book in the first frame was going to by titled "the Dungeon (by RedApropos)," but that would have been too... much.
Also, I was going to have titles put on the books such as "Saddle Up" and other well known ADULT fan fics, but that would have seriously dampened this comic's chances of getting featured anywhere.

So it's just sorta PG, the way it should be.

Wow. That's all I can say. But since I do have a 100 word minimum, I'll try to say a bit more. This was a great laugh xD I can imagine this happening, since they both love to read. Why not try something new? Just don't tell anypony...The art and story line was great (as usual) and I love the way you organized the comic. The boxes and everything are nice and smooth and it's all so neat that my eyes can't take it. Your style is lovely. It's drawn just like in the show, except you use black for the outlines. I think it makes the comic look nicer and gives it a different look. If you did it exactly the way the show does, everything would just be different. So, all in all, I think you did an amazing job with this.

Now about this 'good read' (sorry, wait no I'm not), a nice take on a new concept. A well-done and witty comic with an art style that works well for this sort of art. While this could have gone into other territory, I applaud you for keeping this at around the G/PG rating while still retaining the humor of the comic.

There was a clear and a good flow throughout the comic, with good paneling for the banter between Twilight and Dash. A blunt "yes, they were" was what sold this for me in the second to last panel. I'm not really sure why, but one of my favorite parts of this was every "slam!" and "flip".

With it as simple as it is, I cannot find much to improve on without nit-picking on random details.

All in all, a great read (I mean it this time) and a good job.
