Hush Now, Quiet Now by RedApropos Hush Now, Quiet Now by RedApropos
:icondashisannoyedplz: *ptoo* What I did? How about what YOU did?!

I know it's a wee bit grim, but this idea was offered to me by someone else. This guy: [link]
I really liked it, so I did it. XD

In the original concept, Fluttershy never found out what was going on, but as you can see, she does here. XD
She DID eventually forgive Applejack. It's all good.

-----------—---------

COMMENTERS, CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:

Fluttershy's blissful unknowing/naïveté is strictly for the sake of the comic.

For the fucking love of Celestia, I know what happens in the comic! I OWN THE COMIC! XD
(you'll know what comic I'm talking about the moment you think of commenting about it)

I don't care how Y'ALL say it. Ahm gonna say WHUT I want, HOWEVER I wanna! :iconapplejackproudplz:

Applejack puts the animals down when they get too old. She doesn't eat them.
NOPONY eats them.

Applejack never told a lie. She promised Fluttershy that she would "take care of them" for her (to spare poor Flutters the grief).

This piece of artwork made quite the emotional impact, considering i have been in similar situation, this comic is something that can reach an audience that is mature and young at the same time, as for originality i am yet to see something like this on any other page. The technique is great and i see, potential in perusing a career or hobby at the least in this style of comic. I look forward to seeing more work like this.

This is an original idea that has an impressive impact, looks great and has a good type of audience capturing.

Since my dog died early on this year, I'm writing this critique.
The vision is brilliant, but the moral could be explained a bit more.
This isn't too original, but I don't even know if I've seen this before.
The technique isn't too shabby.
The impact was something that did pull at the heartstrings, and would have made me cry had my dog went to heaven recently. My dog died of a skin-infection, his immune system wasn't exactly able to fight it off completely. We had him treated once, then had him put down after he got the infection again. This is something personal to me, and I still want him back. Merci.
