BLEH by RedApropos BLEH by RedApropos
Let's face it, after drawing nothing but ponies every day for eight months straight, I've lost a bit of steam.

This doesn't mean I'm leaving the fandom or any dumb shit like that. I'm a brony for life! XD

I just hope our fandom hasn't already reached it's peak.

As a community, we bronies have achieved so many good things, and in so many ways, it's almost silly. We've set spectacular events in motion, seen many remarkable people come and go, and all the good we've done has been in the name of friendship (and ponies).

However, since I joined the fandom a little late, I was never here to see the rise of our fandom's titans. Instead, I made it just in time to see some of them move on.

Of course, I couldn't be happier for them!

Not to mention the unfathomable force of creative talent we bronies have to our name, we have more titans ready to rise (15 meter class, bitches)!

But this is about me... I'm not the energetic brony I was eight months ago when I started.
You know what that means...

CONVENTION TIME!!
TIME TO REKINDLE THE FIRE.
Bronycon, here I come!

I think it's a little depressing how some of them moved on. Not just the titans either, but small content creators who made great shit but moved on for whatever reason (look at WaWorl for example: www.youtube.com/user/IWaWorl/v…

So...is that a blunt?

Let's not forget that Red Apropos guy. He's pretty titan-ish.

Hey, our titans aren't all gone yet. We've still got a few up our sleeve. Amazing stuff is still coming along ^^^^^^^^

I see what you mean, though. A lot of the hugely popular stuff was way back in 2011 or 2012. Think 'rainbow factory', pretty much all of tombstone's stuff, etc.

However, what I'm seeing is a lot more intense creative stuff. Argodaemon and ferexes on youtube do awesome 3d animation. Aviators and Blackgryph0n have yet to peak. The art is always stunning (check out my 'mlp' collection).

I think what's happening is a wave. Our first wave: tombstone, glaze, a lot of good PMVers, all those guys, is beginning to fade. A new wave of artists is coming up.

Oh, thank God. I can't stand it when people make a big deal of out 'leaving' a fandom.

I think I remember some people saying the same thing during the break between season 2 and 3; It's not peaked yet, we're just going a dry spell. Nothing more. S'all good!

My friend Taylor and I (irl) love to draw ponies, in our own way though. I may be "better" (according to Taylor) than her yet I still help her out on the eyes, ears, and what ever :3. Not trying to boast about myself o__O;;

Dawg, I'd luv to go to a convention, dem janks look sweet. Tho' I dunno if I'd fit in... I luv all da Bronies, but I feel like I'd be an odd poneigh out, ha ha.

But still, hope dat if you do go to a convention, like Bronycon or Everfree Northwest, dat you have a gewd time and recharge yo inner-poneigh. You could also draw sum non-poneigh stuff, dat mite help you out too.

Oh...

And smokin' poneigh is awesome. I'd like to see mo' of smokin' poneigh.

Nice! Enjoy :) I'd love to visit one sometime, but I'm not sure what the midwest U.S. has to offer...
